I had high hopes for this book as I'd loved book one Layers Deep, and I wasn't disappointed, although this book was a lot more about relationships than the investigation. Pre-Release Review: Layers Deep by Lacey Silks

Release Date 4th December 2013 There are some books, and they're the rare exception, where within just a few pages you really connect. This was one of those books. I read it cover to cover in one session, and my only complaint is it wasn't long enough. At least I'd been forewarned it was a two parter with a cliff hanger, but I didn't see that ending coming.
